Description:Maltitol is a sugar-free sweetener made from high maltose syrup through hydrogenation and refining extraction. Its sweetness is lower than sucrose, better moisture-retention, acid-resistance and non-fermentation and it can not be utilized by certain bacteria. Because of its particular physiological function, physical and chemical characteristics and body tolerance, maltitol is a new functional sweetener which can not be replaced by the other sweeteners.

Maltitol is allowed to use in frozen food, such as ice cream, cool drink, fruit juices, etc. Also can be used as a food additive to biscuits, cakes, pickles and so on.
